Melissa is great. She’s developed a keen eye and is able to see the sorts of little things we often miss when watching our own work. As a consequence, she’s able to tweak my auditions to be, well, better.
What sets Melissa apart is her ear. She has an intuitive sense of the pitch and rhythm required in a scene and has the ability to relay that quickly to the actor. She has more patience than anyone I know, and will literally give you the shirt off her back if it fits the character better than the one you have on.

I’ve taken multiple VO classes with Melissa at this point and enjoyed every one of them! She has an amazing ear for the small but powerful changes a tweak in delivery can have on the performance as a whole, as well as how to adapt the underlying intent and mood to completely change the performance. I started these classes as a complete beginner and Melissa did a great job at breaking down the basics of voice acting while helping me feel comfortable and encouraged during the process. The classes have been so fun and helpful I will definitely be taking more!
